The bright flowers and white paint on front of the cloth panels mask the cycles of calm and turmoil inside. On average, it takes 9 attempts for people trapped in circumstances of domestic violence to exit the cycles of abuse. The numbers 1 through 9 are painted over each other in 9 similar yet separate colors, blending and running together.
